This monumental Napoleon III style fireplace was made of oak wood in the 19th century. The shelf is topped with a blue enamel dial clock crowned by a pediment supported by two putti. Both legs are decorated with lion heads. The overmantel pier mirror, framed by two fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, is richly carved : a lion's head stands on a cartridge while the carved pediment is decorated with a fluted vase and garlands of fruits.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor.
