This antique gilded bronze companion set was made during the 19th century.
It is composed of tongs, poker, brush and shovel in the form of a shell. Each tools topped with a sphere finials, the stand holding bar formed in the shape of a fluted column resting on a square base.
The bronze is gilded thanks to the polyvernis technique.
