Set of 19th century wooden doors

Set of 19th century doors in oak and pine wood. Three double doors and two single doors. The oak door jambs frame pine panels that are slightly decorated. The top part of the double doors are decoratd with low relief features of folds and twists. The lower part is subtly decorated with a diamond feature divided into 4 triangles. They are arched at the top. The two single doors are rectangular with the same mix of oak and pine but have simple panels with moulded frames.

Antique Neo-Renaissance style walnut mantelpiece With Diane de Poitiers coat of arms after the monumental fireplace coming from the Chateau of Villeroy and exhibited at the Louvre Museum

This exquisite hooded fireplace was made during the 19th century out of walnut wood, and follows the Neo-Renaissance style. At the centre of the entablature, a Red Griotte marble cabochon is placed. The rest of the entablature is elaborately carved with sphinxes. The Diane de Poitiers coat of arms, 3 intertwined C, are on the end of the frieze. The Sphinxes decorating the frieze of this fireplace are made after the monumental fireplace from the Château de Villeroy in Mennecy and now exhibited in the Louvre Museum. This fireplace was made by Mathieu Jacquet circa 1600 for the chateau built by Nicolas de Neufville, lord of Villeroy (1542-1617). It was bought by Alexandre Lenoir for the Musée des Monuments français in 1801/1802.

Antique Louis XV period mantel in Rance red marble, 18th century

This Louis XV period mantel was made of Rancel red marble in the 18th century. The paneled jambs with cut off jambs support an entablature adorned with oblong moldings and a beautiful stylized shell. The sides can be made in trompe l'oeil on request.

Regency style trumeau in gilded wood and trompe l'oeil marble from Campan, early 19th century

This Regency style overmantel was made at the beginning of the 19th century in trompe l'oeil imitating Campan marble. It is composed of a highly oxidized mercury mirror in three parts framed by a wooden rod gilded with gold leaf, adorned with a frieze of pearls and acanthus leaves. The mirror is flanked by two rectangular panels framed by gilded wooden rods, each with a medallion in the center decorated with a flower in a scroll and acanthus leaf design and a shell at the base in interlacing acanthus leaf. The top of the mirror is decorated on each side with volutes of gold leafed.

Beige Louis XV style trumeau, end of the 19th century

This trumeau painted in beige was made in the late 19th century. Its frame very sober is simply adorned with small elements in stucco painted in gold in the upper part depicting acanthus leaves scrolls, typical of the Louis XV style.

Louis XVI style trumeau with ribbon and frieze, 19th century

This Louis XVI style trumeau was made in the 19th century of wood and stucco painted in white. Its frame is adorned with elegant small friezes and surmounted with a knotted ribbon. The pediment also depicts a ribboned frieze and four roses in the corners.
