Series of three stained glass windows with stone Neogothic frames from a church in Belgium. Designed in the late 19th century, they are attributed to the work of Joseph Casier. Joseph Casier was born in 1852 into a merchant family from Ghent. He opened a stained glass atelier in 1895 and developped his trade until his death in 1925. We will soon give more information about the artist and his work.
The three windows presented here depict different moments of the life of Jesus. This panel shows Jesus breaking the bread at the last supper with two of his disciples on either side of the table. The others show a nativity scene (item number 9253) and a station of the cross scene (item number 9254).
The frames are in Belgian blue stone.
