This Louis XVI style trumeau was made in the 19th century. The top is adorned with two opposing friezes of posts. It tops a gilded frame with angles turned inwards, decorated with a frieze of ovals and, towards the inside, a frieze of pearls. The spandrels each hold a small rosette.
