Louis XVI style trumeau from the 19th century. The frieze around the mirror is adorned with a motif of fagots – a very Neo-Classical theme. The panel above the mirror represents a large cartouche, in which garlands of flowers and leaves, and laurel leaves flank an oval medallion circled with pearls. The whole is crowned by a ribbon tied n a bow. The pure Neo-Classical style is enhanced by the cream color of the trumeau.
