Painted wood overmantel with a large mirror framed and topped with a pediment in gilded wood in the Louis XVI style. The sculpted molding of the frame is decorated with acanthus leaves bordered by a line of pearls. An Antique style urn flanked by laurel and oak leaves define the pediment. Garlands heavy with flowers fall on either side passing in front of the mirror.
