Made in around 1860, in the era of Napoleon III, this exceptionally beautiful mirror was made entirely in carved and gilded wood. This glazing bead mirror is absolutely characteristic of the era and is decorated with shells and foliated scrolls which make it close to the Regence style. The two catches that adorn the upper part of the mirror are also typical of the Regence style.
