This antique Louis XVI style overmantel pierglass was made during the 19th century. Faithful to Louis XVI’s taste for the bucolic style, the lateral pilasters are decorated by garlands of flowers supported by knots. Their feets are embellished by two athétiennes supporting fire pots. The miror is framed by thin moldings and the upper part is decorated by a knotted ribbon holding a garland of flowers.
