This Louis XV style antique overmantel pierglass was made during the 19th century. It is adorned in the center of the upper part of its frame with a shell surrounded by Rococo -inspired volutes. The edging on the frame is fineley decorated by small shells and plants. On both sides, oblong moldings are carved and decorated with foliages typical of the Louis XV style at their ends.
