Beautiful sheet metal bird cage with Napoleon III style copper decorations from the 19th century. The wire screen cage, with three doors is topped with a pointed roof crowned with a pine cone and with rounded finials at the four corners. It rests upon a stand adorned with a frieze of roses and leaves, and with finely worked legs linked by a crossbar bearing at its center a pine cone that echoes the one above.
