This antique garden fountain was made out of painted cast iron during the 19th century. Very typical of Parisian courtyards, these fountains have been taken from large buildings from the second half of the 19th century, and have been connected to urban water systems.
The model of this fountain is known in the Catalog of the Val d'Osne Foundry.
