This rare fireplace was made in carved mahogany circa 1900, in an Art Nouveau style. It is decorated with an elegant inlay wood work with flowers, plants and curls of smoke.
The rounded hearth ends with two snails joined by an open work metal panel. It is topped by a bouquet of wheat and wild flowers. The angles are decorated with tapered pilasters decorated with falling circles, they are topped by a capital sculpted with maple leaves. P>
The upper part is composed by a sinuous mirror topped with carved fruit in high relief. The frame is decorated with two shelves in the form of trees. P>
