This very beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of Blanc de Carrare marble during the 19th century. The jambs are made up of semi columns that are fluted and fileted and surmounted with capitals of acanthus leaves. The entablature of this fireplace is delicately carved with interlaced laurel branches. The sides of the fireplace are paneled.
This fireplace is sold with a antique insert but without marble floor ( could be made to order).
