This small flat Pompadour fireplace was made in the 19th century in white Carrara marble.
This fireplace has a curved shelf resting on a serpentin front carved with a central cercle. The angled jambs are also carved with moldings.
The name Pompadour refers to the decorative arts of the Louis XV style enthusiast and mistress of the King. This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor . The marble floor can be made to order. Because of its rare dimensions, the insert is subject to conditions.
