Saint Anne gray marble mantel with modillions. Napoleon III style, made during the 19th century. This mantle is designed with straight jambs on block feet, rising up to a simple entablature. The modillions carved with deep flutes support the recessed shelf. A small, molded and curved frame surrounds the hearth. The modillion mantel is a variation of the Capucine mantel. The white enameled insert is included.
