Made in the 19th century, this Breccia mantel presents a sober and discreet decoration. The entablature is adorned in the center with an oval rosette surrounded by two horizontal panels. The corners are embellished with finely carved square rosettes, classical Louis XVI style ornamentation. The slightly curved jambs are decorated with flutes.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
