This beautiful curved fireplace was made in the late 19th century out of Carrara marble. Typical of the Louis XV style, its jambs are adorned on the upper part with a small shell supporting a scroll. The serpentine entablature shows on its center a beautiful shell underlined with an oblong moulding. The whole bears a slab with sculpted edges.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert which is broken and will be restored by us but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
