Beautiful Louis XIV style 19th century mantel in Ardennes gray marble. The jambs, adorned with fluting, rise up to a slightly curved entablature. The moldings follow the curve of the hearth opening, but continue across the top of the fluted jambs, creating a capital shape. The simplicity of the panel decor on the entablature and upper third of the jambs makes an elegant mantel.
This fireplace is sold without the cast iron insert. The marble floor is not available but can be made to order.
