This large antique Louis XIV style fireplace is made out of a rare marble, Breche Violette marble. The fluted and curved jambs support a large entablature enhanced by a deep moudling which runs down the sides of the fireplace. The entablature is paneled and decorated in the center with a carved medallion. The sides of this fireplace are paneled and decorated with air vents.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but they could be made to order.
