This stunning Louis XV style fireplace sculpted out Ilhet Sarrancolin marble, in the 19th century.
The molded serpentine shelf over a paneled frieze centred by an acanthus floral shell cartouche and flanked by paterae and moldings.
Angled scrolled jambs richly carved with a fall of shells, foliage and plants. Endblocks topped by acanthus leeves.
Each sides are curved and embellished with a molded cartel with concave angles.
The original cast iron insert with black patina is decorated with rococo patterns such as scrolls, shells and plants.
The original marble floor was made out of Green Campan marble and Sarrancolin marble.
The original overmantel is available under the reference 10300.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and marble floor.
