This charming small antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century out of a superbe Fior di Pesco marble. In reference to Antiquity, the jambs are decorated with fluted half-columns placed slightly forward. The entablature is decorated with a simple molded and slightly curved panel, as well as the heads of jambs. Made of Fleur de Pêcher (Fior di Pesco) marble, this small fireplace has a luminous color and a beautiful constellation of veins.
The small dimensions of this fireplace are here associated with an extreme care in the choice of the model, which is very rare.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
