This big antique Napoleon III style console was realized at the end of the 19th century in a rare Villefranche de Conflent marble. Jambs with strong rolling-ups are decorated with sculptured medallions and with flowery shells where from escape fleshy acanthus leaves which deploy on the sides of jambs. The work of sculpture is very fine and of a high quality.
