This very large antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of Carrara marble during the 19th century. The curved entablature is decorated with a line of pearls, as are the jambs. Finely carved, intertwining laurel branches decorate the top of both jambs. The line of pearls which decorate the ledge of the shelf make this fireplace very original.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and its original hearth.
