This small antique Louis XV style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century. The canted jambs are decorated with windings and are carved with reversed shells. The centre of the entablature - shaped with curves and counter-curves - is sculpted with a large reversed shell.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
