This beautiful Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century. This is a beautiful model with jambs topped of acanthus leaves made out of Carrara marble.
This marble brings out the sculptures of acanthus leaves tumbling on the jambs, as well as the rosettes carved on the entablature.
The console jambs are decorated with a row of pearls, as is the frieze, and both sides are panneled.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert and its original three squares marble floor.
