This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of an Arabescato marble during the 19th century. The sculptures are made of gilded bronze. Thus, the frieze is decorated along its length with a frieze of stylized waves with leaves made of gilded bronze. The jambs are underlined with a row of beads.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor.
