This very beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble during the second half of the 19th century. The fluted and filleted jambs are decorated with finely carved asparagus heads. The entablature is decorated with a frieze of pearls and rosettes.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert which is painted but will be cleaned by us. The marble floor is not available but could be made to order.
