This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble in the 19th century. The curved jambs are decorated with flutings and have two naturalist rosettes on top, that are typical features of the Louis XVI style. The frieze is ornamented with grooves.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace and with its marble floor.
