This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century in Arabescato marble whose gray veins give relief and ornament to this beautiful fireplace. The jambs are decorated with oblong moldings and acanthus leaves on their upper part. The delicately paneled frieze they support is decorated at its center with a large oval flower and, on both sides, with square naturalistic rosettes.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace and with its original three squares marble floor.
