The design of this white Carrara marble mantel obeys the specific details of the Louis XVI style : with curved sides, square rossettes adorning the heads, and a straight lined shelf and entablature. The fluted jambs are filleted in the lower portion; wisps of wheat top the fillets. The front is adorned with rectangular panels framing a generous flower.
No insert or marble hearth floor.
