In very good condition.
Sculpted in a rare and very decorative Breche Violette marble, this antique Regence style fireplace was made during the 19th century. The curved and paneled frieze is enhanced by a molding which also goes across the sides of the fireplace. The legs are fluted. The cast iron interior is very delicately decorated with a medallion enclosing putti.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
