This antique Napoleon III style fireplace with detached columns was made out of very beautiful Belgian black marble during the 19th century. This marble, clear and without any veins, doesn't tend to be used to make fireplaces, thus making this fireplace very rare. The feature of detached columns adds to this rarity.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert. This fireplace is sold without the hearth but one can be made to order.
