This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made during the 19th century out of Blanc de Carrare marble. The rounded corners are fluted, filleted and decorated with carved asparagus heads. The top of the jambs are decorated with square rosettes. The centre of the entablature is decorated with a floral medallion.
The sides of this fireplace are panelled and equipped with air vents.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
