In very good condition. Small accident on one shelf angle. The cast iron has been cleaned.
This beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century. This model with rounded corners is made up of fluted and filleted jambs topped with asparagus heads. The entablature is elaborately carved with interwined laurel branches.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert. The original marble floor is not available but could be made to order.
