This antique Louis XVI style fireplace with rounded corners was made during the 19th century. The veins of the Breccia marble give relief and ornament to this elegantly decorated fireplace. The delicately fluted jambs support a frieze also fluted and adorned with bronzes representing leaves and bell flowers. Two beautiful naturalistic square rosettes in bronze adorn the ends of the frieze.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (ask us for marble availability).
