This antique Louis XVI style fireplace in Carrara marble was made in the 19th century. The frieze is decorated with a ribbon wrapped and framed by a fine border of pearls. Two naturalistic square rosettes decorate the rounded corners of this fireplace. The jambs are embellished in their flutes with delicately carved asparagus heads.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
