This antique Louis XV style fireplace, Pompadour model also designated as flat, was realized in Carrara marble in the 19th century. It has the typical characteristics of the model, named after the favorite mistress of King Louis XV : the paneled and canted jambs support a curved frieze adorned with a central medallion.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
