This Antic Louis XVI mantel was realized in Rouge Royal marble during the 18th century.
The curved and moulded jambs are holding an entablature adorned with a beautiful scrolls frieze, flanked by rosettes.
The mantel was modified through the years, it was raised by the hoof and the sides were realized during the 19th century. It is possible to give it its original height.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its hearth slab added in the 20th century.
