Beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace made in a very decorative marble in the 19th century.
The winding jambs are adorned with acanthus leaves. The frieze with paneling decoration is carved in the center of a rosette, a pattern also found at both ends of the entablature.
The sides are paneled.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor.
