This beautiful Louis XVi style fireplace mantel was made in the 19th century in Arabescato marble. The entablature is adorned in its centre with an acanthus leaf medallion framed by two panels bordered with pearls. The upper part of the feet are carved with roses and bell-shaped flowers. The lower part is fluted, gilded and decorated with stylized asparagus heads. The heads of the jambs are carved with square rosettes.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor.
